This week, we discussed Artificial Intelligence. One AI platform we discussed was ChatGPT. I am very familiar with this platform as I am constantly using it, whether I am using it to describe a word, give me some inspiration for a project, or help explain a certain topic. In addition to ChatGPT, we talked about other platforms that I did not realize were AI, like Google Maps, as it uses information like traffic to give you the most efficient route, and Netflix, as it uses what movies you liked to suggest new ones. Learning about this was kind of a reality check because I never remember how much AI is taking from you and knows about you. Going into the future, I will be much more careful with what I am doing online, and will definitely raise this kind of awareness in my future classroom. Although there exists many dangers and risks when it comes to AI, it is still a useful tool, it just needs to be used with caution. It can really do anything for you. The options are endless. For instance, it can write you a song, a poem, a lesson plan, an essay, jokes.
