I really enjoyed this week’s class as I learned a lot of tips and tricks when creating graphics through PowerPoint. In the past, I always used Canva, which I would always run into issues with, as I do not have Canva Pro. I would get really annoyed and would spend hours trying to create a basic worksheet for the kids at summer camp. I am excited now that I know how PowerPoint works and will definitely be using it in the future. I will use this to deliver lessons in a more engaging manner, as well as create engaging worksheets for the students. I will be able to customize and personalize my graphics to my classes’ interests.
At the end of today’s class, we created our own graphics. Above is the graphic that I made in class, in only 10 minutes. This shows how easy PowerPoint is to use as I am not a very techy person. Overall, I think this class was a very helpful tool going into the profession of teaching.
